A purple call to action

Jacaranda1At the University of Queensland where I work, people say that if you haven’t started preparing for your end of year assessment by the time the Jacarandas are in flower, you are in trouble. Lucky me, I don’t have assignments to write or exams to study for this year, but I am still heeding the purple call to action. The Jacarandas are delivering a personal message to me that it is time to start planning in earnest for the move to Hoi An. It’s a little under four months before we leave, and our ‘to do’ list is growing longer rather than shorter.
